One Sathorn SquareTransforming the 100-year-old historical Russian Embassy building site
Strategy: By taking advantage of its central location next to the Skytrain station, its historical background, and the large concentration of office accommodation, luxury hotels, residential homes and retail outlets in the neighborhood an ambitious master planned community plan was created by being inspired by Thailand's past as 'The Venice of the East'. An entire marketing campaign was then formulated to recapture the Russian embassy's rich history and 'Venetian-like' canals were designed around the entire sites theme. The initial master plan included The Infinity luxury condominiums, 5-star luxury hotel and executive serviced residences, a Milan Atrium shopping centre and restaurants, world class spa, boutique hotel and a Spanish steps inspired courtyard with an underground food fair and supermarket. An extensive pr and marketing campaign was featured in the Infinity sales centre promotion this 5-10 year project. The Success Story: The 100% sold out success of The Infinity was testimony to the public's strong approval of One Sathorn Square's master plan. The developer received positive feedback and was able to secure a world-class hotel operator and received strong interest for the retail and office components. |
