Dr. Michael Nobel is
Chairman or Board member of ten international companies in
diagnostics,
treatment and information
systems in the field of medicine, other areas included
banking, IT, oil
exploration and
environmental management.
In his idealistic work
Michael Nobel is chairman of board member of several
non-for-profit
organizations in the field
of youth education and development including the Nobel
Charitable
Trust which bestows awards
for distinguished work by scientist, politicians and
corporate leaders in
the fields of renewable
energies, global warming reduction and anti pollution
measures.
He has received an
honorary professorship from the National Academy of Science
of Azerbaijan
and an honorary doctorate
from Soka University in Japan. He is foreign member of the
Russian
Academy of Natural
Sciences and has received many awards including the UNESCO
Medal for
Outstanding Contributions
to the Cultural Dialogue between Nations as well as the
Albert-
Einstein Award for
Outstanding Achievements in Life Sciences and Technology in
Israel in 2005
He is presently visiting
professor at the Tokyo Institute of Technology at the
National University of Japan
